Coffee Emporium

Ah, coffee emporium two words any body loves to hear. there are so many options to choose from as to what you'll drink and eat, my sister got me hooked on a chai tea latte with soy milk and raspberry and blackberry flavor. I love it i think i'm even starting to like it better than starbucks, sorry you starbucks people you'll just have to for give me and their lemon cake is good also their chocolate chip cakes not bad, i also have had some of their fudge and like that too. The one i like is in a quite area over in hyde park and it's a great place to hang out with friends well leave me a comment about what your favorite drink and snack is ttyl.

HOMEWORK

Homework ahhh.... what a wonderful thing, yeah right I think any college student would say that it is horrible,that homework is not fun 300 hundred word papers, speeches and so forth. But I actually like homework because it gives you the opportunity to discipline yourself, and help you actually learn the material. All the other college students will hate me for saying this but I like homework because it helps me...

Devotions part 2

Devotions are a big part of every Christians life right? But do we do them because we are looking to grow spiritually closer to god, or because it's something we've become accustom to it it's in our routine so we do them. Well if you do them because of the first you are on the right path and I hope you do draw closer to God through your effort,but if you are doing them because of the second i hope you wake up and realize like I did that it's meaningless when you do them simply because their apart of your routine. They mean so much more when you do them because you want a closeness with God that comes only from hard work and an understanding that this kind of closeness takes time but it's worth it in the end. Truly it is good luck and God bless.

Senior year

Well its the end of the year, time to graduate and go to college. Its a very scary thought for me, that I am about to graduate and go to college at the beginning of the year it seemed so far away. after all I am only eighteen and i know that's the normal age, but it feels like its a dream and i keep expecting my mom to come in and wake me up. But that is not the case well back to reality,and my homework.

These Sad Eyes

These sad eyes,can't always hide what's deep within me.

It's all there if you know where to look,my pain written

clearly on my face, my life like an open book.

These sad eyes cry, out in their despair

but none seem to see me.

Why is no one helping, can't they see my pain?

No none see my pain for it is hiden,

TLC

TLC is a great way to spend your summer, you can go all over the world literally. They are going to places like the Amazon, Spain , Russia, Mozambique , Lesotho & India. Just to name a few, but the most fun is at boot camp you go down to Florida and the church has land out in the middle of nowhere that they take you to and you spend a week doing stuff like obstacle courses,and washing your clothes in a bucket among other thing's. Then they hold a commissioning service then you spend a night washing your clothes so you can repack them before leaving the next morning. After all that fun you go to the place you signed up for and spend two or three week's, depending on how long your trip is. Doing Vbs, and other ministries it's a blast that's why I'm going this year well that's all folks.

Spirit Week

Well if you can't tell by the title I'm talking about spirit week. It's been interesting so far, we've done twin day yesterday,today is crazy day it's been crazy!!!!! also today is the girls silent day we can't talk to the guys or we lose our string, so far I'm doing good i think that there are five girls left. Tomorrow is favorite team colors day so i think I'm going to wear a Cincinnati Red's shirt.Thursday is nerd/fifties I have no idea what I'm going to do for that. Then last but not least Friday is school colors day, because it's the school's basketball & volleyball tournament's.

My Cousin

My Cousin Ashley Now to tell you more about her she's seven week's younger than me, taller and a lot more retarded just kidding ( love ya ash) . Ashley is one of those people i could go to when i need to really talk,she listens and gives her advice freely i love her for that reason she there to listen. I can't wait until we go to college next year and share a room it's gonna be a blast, and were even thinking about going on TLC together so that's gonna be fun well that's all for now. Ashley thank you for always being there for me love ya Joc.

The Good Times

Well I told you I was going to save the good times for another blog,that blog has come. To tell the truth she was the peace keeper guardian of the oreo's and all around good girl. Ok well that's what she was to me,but she really was a hero in a way by the little things she did like, let me and my cousin ashley play with her hair, use her purses and baby doll's to play house, and she even let my sister's and cousin's and myself sleep under her table. I know to some people that may not be a big deal but to me now that she's gone, it is i'll hold on to it forever. have you ever had one of those times when you say i'm gonna laugh at this latter,even if you don't think it's funny at the time well i have one to share. and it's thanks to Nanny ( or grandma) she had this juicer and wanted to make carrot juice well my cousin's,sister's and myself were the guine pig's let's just put it this way I don't really care for carrot's or carrot juice today. But it definatly makes me lagh to think about it.

Life make it count

After reading my cousins blog. About the funeral she just went to, it makes me think how truly fragile life really is. I mean really when you stop and think about it, there are numerous ways a life can be snuffed out. It can happen when we least expect it,I remember all to well like it was yesterday my Grandmas funeral. It was like a nightmare I couldn't wake up from,The thing that sticks out most in my mind is my mom saying we needed to go take pictures at the grave. I looked at my mom like she was crazy and told her how do you expect me to smile for a picture my grandma just died. She said you don't have to mean it we just want to have a picture done at her grave. I can't even begin to describe the pain I still feel to this day, when I think about the fun I had with her she was the best grandma a person could ask for. Never asking for anything or complaining about things she was the BEST... I can't say it better than that. As for the good memories I'll save those for another blog. Till then make your life count live every day for God, live it as if it wereyour last day on earth, Just make sure your ready when and if he calls you home, don't leave this world with any regrets.

Exploring Indiana

Our last day of freedom, was spent exploring Nashville Indiana which was so much fun. because if you've ever spent a day with the Barr family you would understand that a day with our family in itself is fun ,but it was also fun because we got to explor this little town. we walked all over that little town and looked through so many differnt shops. my favorite shops were the puse store & candy store, where they let you sample everything you wanted to so I tried just about everything which amazed my family. who also tried just about everything, and my poor father ended up buying about half of the store because he got something for each kid which there's five kids in our family so thats expensive. then my older sister's wanted so other stuff also so after my father left they got some more stuff. then finally it was time to go home but before we got in the car to leave we made these huge sandwhiches ,with stuff we had brought for this very reason. then once everyone had a sandwhich and headed home towards the setting sun.........

Back at school

well vacation is over ,it's time once again to start getting back up at 6:45 every mornig for another semester yea but the fun doesn't end there theres a challenge to bring grades up, set a good example for the lower classmen since i'm as senior and so forth and so on but for now the challenge is to get my brother to the babysitter on time. bye for now
